I have recently tried out the APC Mini with M-PC, and it works well once you get your head around what you need to control different parameters.
I had it set with with Fixture groups and colours palettes (using the LUA pre-script so that writing script files was not necessary...and I don't know how to do it or what with), submasters on the faders, submaster flash buttons, and a clear button.
It can be difficult to map some of the LED colours onto the buttons as the note mapping for the APC mini isn't accurate from the pictures I found, but once you have that worked out, it works very well.
RE: LED colours, instead of following the numbers given from the mapping I found where the buttons are marked as 01, 02, 03....07, 08, 09, 10, 11 etc, they are actually 01, 02....08, 09, 0A, 0B.....0F, 10, 11 if that makes sense.

The only issue that I have had is that the faders seem to be pretty unresponsive and low-resolution, but I will be putting a post up asking about that shortly.
