Is it possible your external monitor is mapped as #2 (External Left) ?
I don't think so. When I turn on sidebards on every screen available nothing shows up on my external monitor. When I use option "Assign displays" the console asks if I am sure that I want to do that and when I click "Yes" nothing happens.
Did you restart the console with the DVI monitor attached?
Yes I did. I tried to switch outputs between VGA an DVI as well.
I am having the same issue. The resolution sent to the external monitor is 1024x768. I can move the mouse over to it but no windows or menu bars on the screen.
Is there still a way to access the windows command prompt to bring up display settings?
Most important question:
Which software version are you using, @tygrysm?
I believe it's 3.70.881.0
Please upgrade to 885
OK, now I am on 3.70.885. Nothing changed - still nothing shows up on the external screen and I can't set any resolution or assign screen.
I've got the same issue. I've tried swapping to DVI, Rebooting with and without display. I'm on 885. So frustrating.
Same issue, running 3.70.885
Fixed in Beta 911http://forum.martin.com/t/m-series-beta-3-71-911/3053?source_topic_id=2931
If possible, please check this, and give the developers some feedback, on that Beta post
They are waiting to hear about the Beta fixes, and what else needs to be taken care off

Same issue, running .885 fail!
Same issue on my side
Hi @Ofer_Brum, have you found a fix for this in 3.70.885.0? I have the same issue with an external monitor but not sure if running shows in Beta is wise? Thank you
