I apologize you for my strong suggestions about MIDI Sync timecode implementation to M-PC. My fault! My knowledge about MIDI timecodes was low and I was wrong. I thought that MIDI Sync gives easy way to synchronize MIDI devices and gives absolute position like MIDI MTC timecode. I didn't read careffuly your explanation in another post.
Then I've studied links, made some experiments with software and realized you are right. MIDI Sync isn't designed for purposes I need and it is not necessary in lighting console. Maybe only for FX speed synchronization, which can be interesting, but feature like this isn't very usefull in practice.
I strongly need MIDI MTC timecode synchronisation which is implemented in M-PC, which I know. Problem is with Ableton which can work only as slave but can't generate it and can't be a master with MIDI MTC.
As I mentioned in one post, Mac version of Ableton can use plugin which generate MIDI MTC out. I can't check it now.
I have to find another way. Another software which plays audio, video and generate MIDI MTC as master for each track.
I didn't know why you've lost this topic and didn't continue it?
Now I know, the issue is not in M-PC and MIDI MTC implementation is enough and Ableton has lack of feature generating MIDI MTC as master.
Why? I really don't know! It is very strange why so professional, popular, industry standard DAW, very usefull for live performances(!) has so important disadvantage.
So I've learnt something new!
