I've been using MPCTools in a venue for over a year now to link a Behringer Midi Fader wing to MPC.
It's all been working fine until this week end when Windows Defender decided that MPCTools was a virus and promptly disabled it.
I tried starting it up on another computer which I've previously run it on as well and Windows Defender promptly disabled MPCTools on that computer too.
I've also tried re-downloading the install files for different versions of MPCTools from it's website and they all Fail due to a 'virus' being detected in them.
I'm running Windows 10 on both computers, and tried to download files in Chrome.
This is what Windows Defender has to say.
Description: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.
Recommended action: Remove this software immediately.
file:C:\Program Files (x86)\MPCTools\MPCTools.exe
I'm curious as to if anyone else is experiencing the same problem, and if so, if they have a solution to it?
