I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time with your install and hardware. I'm not sure why your M-Touch didn't take the firmware / driver update. I would start by getting MPC back up and running trying the two methods listed below from @Ofer_Brum. If that still doesn't work, you might need to reach out to Controller Support for a remote session to see if they can identify anything. Please follow both steps running as Admin.
Once you get MPC up and running, we can look at the M-Touch issues. Again, might have to reach out to Controller Support. There have been a few instances where the unit does not take the update and needs replaced under warranty. Again, Controller Support can help identify that.
Also, a few additional details to have ready will help go along way in the troubleshooting process. Like PC brand / model /specs. Win versions and build. Are there multiple user accounts on the machine? Are you using group policies to manage it?
We have three MPC machines running on our IT network with certain permissions and it took a few try's working with the IT department to get all the proper permissions and log credentials allowed. However, once that was done, they work great. Also, when updating our machines, we make sure all hardware is unplugged and windows is up to date. Then we update the firmware.
Again, sorry to hear you're having troubles, but hope this helps.
